Class Descriptions

Class placement is at the discreation of the teacher or company coach and is determined by dancer's age, ability level and previous dance experience. New students may be asked to take a placement class to determine the appropriate level for them.


Combo classes


This class is 1.5 hours specially designed to introduce our younger students to different styles of dance that we offer in our regular dance program. All combination classes include Pre-Ballet or Ballet, Gymnastics and or Tap.  




Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work based on a variety of techniques.




All students can enjoy the basic fundmentals of tap! Students learn basic sounds and steps which lead to advanced rhythms. Dancers progress to complex combinations and routines that incorporate many tap styles.




Jazz class includes warm-up, stretching, isolations, across the floor combinations and patterns. Choreography is set to contemporary music.  




Lyrical combines Ballet and Jazz techniques in order to interpret music through dance. Students must be enrolled in Ballet for this discipline.




Hip Hop Abs & Zumba are a fun way to burn those extra calories we so desperately want to disappear. The class is all aerobic with Strength exercises integrated through out the dances. It is a FUN way to get yourself moving!
